Tutoring & Mentoring

The purpose of the LevelUp academic program has two parts, mentoring and tutoring. Our goal is to equip children with the tools necessary to be successful, despite their current situation.

Mentoring and tutoring go hand in hand because it is important that students understand they are currently laying the foundation they will need to accomplish their goals in the future. We tutor by going into the classroom and providing hands on help to each student in areas where they struggle. We mentor by connecting with these children on a personal level and finding out what motivates them so that we can help them accomplish their goals.

LevelUP‘s main point of emphasis: build a strong foundation, add to it, and realize that there are always areas in life that need improvement. In the future we would like to have LevelUP operating in many different areas.
